Raw Fitness Lodi’s Raw Date Night is Lodi, New Jersey’s premier gym date for couples looking to have fun, sweat, and learn self-defense. Besides being something new to do, our focus on self-defense and martial arts provides a great workout that balances fun with real-world applications.

A New Gym Date Experience.
As you go back and forth, make it a competition and get to know each other further as you work through the techniques. Our class is split between two thirty-minute blocks of striking and grappling for you and your partner to enjoy.
Besides the sweat and activity, this is also a great time to relax and have time to be with your partner. Our night also includes: complimentary wine, chocolates, and mocktails to balance out all the exercise. We also offer free t-shirts to first-time attendees!

Couples Self-Defense
Fitness For You and Your Significant Other.
Learning to protect yourself and your partner is critical in this day and age… but it can also be fun. Our couples’ self-defense program focuses on taking any couple, no matter their fitness level or experience, and giving them basic skills and techniques they can apply to protect themselves in a variety of situations.
Guided by professional instructors, we work with both of you to make sure you are practicing techniques correctly and safely. Our classes focus on a blend of instruction/demonstrations, back-and-forth drills, padwork, and controlled grappling. You’ll work together to learn through basic boxing and ju-jitsu techniques to create a foundation of knowledge that we can build off of.

Couples Self-Defense
It’s Not Just a Gym Date!
Couples Boxing Training
To give you both a solid base in striking, we’ll be focusing on boxing self-defense techniques. You’ll learn the basic punches like jab, cross, and hook, as well as how to block and avoid punches. Practicing back and forth, you’ll work on the movement and timing needed to protect yourself.
Couples Jiu-Jitsu Training
The grappling portion of our couples’ self-defense will focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Specifically, we’ll be teaching you no gi Ju-Juitsu. This means that neither of you will have to incur the expense of buying traditional gis. No gi Jujitsu is also ideal for the practical self-defense you want to learn; odds are, you won’t be attacked while wearing a gi. This portion of the class will focus on techniques designed to overcome holds, grappling techniques, and even strikes.
Instead of a dinner and a show, you get to be a part of an experience with your partner. Whether a new or long-term relationship, we’ll help you add a new level of excitement to your Friday date.
DATE NIGHT
Couples Only
Fitness For You and Your Significant Other.
This is a class for couples only, so please don’t sign up without a partner. We want to make this a casual event for couples to enjoy themselves, so this won’t be a speed-dating type of event. Spouses and boyfriends/girlfriends are all welcome.
Raw Date Night is open to multiple couples last Friday night of the month at 7 pm for $250 per couple. This gives you an hour plus of personalized instruction and the free snacks we mentioned earlier. At the end of the night, we want you to take away some great lessons in self-defense, as a meaningful time with your significant other in a new and exciting way.
