    With a career in mixed martial arts spanning over 18 years, Brian’s boxing pedigree includes boxing under New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame trainer Michael Rizzo and earning a jiujitsu brown-belt under Karl “Silver Fox” Pravec of Renzo Gracie Lineage. Brian’s record is 14-1, achieving the ultimate goal of winning New Jersey Golden Gloves in 2014. After winning it all in championship-level boxing, Brian realized a need for local training for amateur boxing athletes. Through training others, Brian discovered a passion to answer that calling.

    Sharing his boxing skills and passion for fitness, Brian saw an opportunity to teach and show other would-be boxers how to box and get fit. Brian officially founded Raw Fitness in 2015. Today, Raw Fitness is quickly becoming New Jersey’s premier gym offering a variety of fitness programs including H.I.I.T. Bootcamp, personal training, boxing, MMA, Zumba, and more.

    Brian has been a certified fitness instructor since 2011. He holds N.A.S.M. certifications in nutrition and kettle-bell training, and is a USA Boxing certified boxing coach.

    Jay "Lionheart" Llano

    Coach Jay “Lionheart” Llano has over 16 years of boxing experience. He has trained under New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame trainer Mike Rizzo. As an amateur boxer, Jay won New Jersey Golden Gloves. Currently, he holds an impressive undefeated record in professional boxing.

    Coach Jay is a certified USA Boxing coach and teaches boxing to all levels of student from first-time boxers to professional fighters. Coach Jay is also N.A.S.A.M. certified personal trainer with over 7 years experience training individuals for weight loss, mobility training, and strength and conditioning.

From powerlifting to boxing, wrestling, and everything in between, Coach Mike has been putting in work long before it was a trend. As a former United States Marine, Michael Puca has been through it all — knowing that fitness isn’t just about looking good, but feeling unstoppable. Michael believes true balance in life starts with a strong body and a stronger mind.

    Over the years, Coach Michael has helped countless people break past their limits, build real strength, and live their best lives. For him, discipline is freedom, plain and simple.     Janet

    A.F.A., N.A.S.A.M.

    Coach Janet has been an A.F.A. certified and N.A.S.A.M. certified trainer for over 12 years. As a high-school athlete, she transitioned for the love of strength training.

    Janet has taught fitness at Beautiful Bodies Bootcamp, Title Boxing, Triple10Boxing, and has had the pleasure of being a personal trainer to amazing clients along the way. In May 2021, Janet joined Raw Fitness and has been along for the ride ever since.

    Coach Janet’s style of strength training is fun, energetic, effective. And to make 60 minutes fly by. Janet will give you modifications if needed, as she believes fitness is for everyone at every level.

    Manny

    Since 2020, Coach Manny has been training at Raw Fitness teaching boxing as his specialty. Manny has dedicated many years inside and outside the ring to learn the sweet science. With Coach Manny, you will experience everything boxing has to offer. Dedicate yourself to learn this beautiful art, step by step, punch by punch, and unlock your full potential in fitness and in the ring. 

    Besides teaching the benefits of youth boxing to kids at Raw Fitness, Manny is an active amateur boxer.

    Eric Salas

    Eric’s fitness journey began in 2019 when he weighed as much as 280 pounds. Joining Raw Fitness not only helped Eric achieve his weight-loss goals but in his words “it changed my life forever.” Eric’s experience sparked a passion for helping others who are in the same position he once was in.

    Since 2021, Eric has been coaching with a focus on CrossFit-oriented training which pushes both the body and mind to their limits. His classes are designed to challenge you and help you achieve results you’ll never believe possible. Coach emphasizes intensity with the proper stimulus to drive lasting results.

    Tai

    Meet Tai. Tai’s fitness journey started as a way to escape a tough home environment which led to discovery of how empowering it is to prioritize self-care. As Tai worked to self-improve, he found a circle of inspiring, supportive people. Tai dropped a staggering 100 lbs. by focusing on eating whole, nutritious foods and transitioning from cardio-heavy routines – like Zumba and kickboxing – to strength training.

    Tai’s passion for health led him to become a Zumba instructor, a personal trainer, and spend a little time teaching kickboxing. Currently, Tai is into wellness, bodybuilding, and getting ready for his first powerlifting meet in 2025.

    Tai is all about foundational strength—using isometrics, tempo training, and mobility work to keep bodies strong and healthy for the long run. In every class or session, Tai wants people to have fun and realize that investing even 40-60 minutes in themselves can be completely transformational, both physically and mentally.

    Victoria Franzetti

    B.F.A. Dance, Montclair State University

    Originally from Saddle Brook, New Jersey, Victoria Franzetti graduated with a BFA in Dance from Montclair State University in 2016. While at MSU, Victoria discovered her passion for fitness. Alongside intensive dance training, Victoria found cross-training with H.I.I.T. classes and weightlifting the most helpful for conditioning. Victoria has years of experience in the fitness industry but is most passionate about mobility training, stretch & recovery.

    While taking one of Victoria’s classes you will get to experience a true H.I.I.T. class. Utilizing all weights and machines, Victoria’s H.I.I.T. class is sure to help you lose weight and build or tone muscle.

    Freddie

    With an astounding 31 years of boxing experience, Coach Freddie brings a wealth of expertise to boxing classes at Raw Fitness. Coach Freddie started boxing with the Passaic PAL Boxing Team. Today, they are known as the renowned Jersey Boys Boxing.

    Freddie is a USA Boxing amateur boxer and certified boxing coach. Some of Coach Freddie’s favorites things to teach is strength and conditioning, self-defense, and technique and footwork. Freddie’s goal as a boxing coach is to make sure his students become a complete fighter both physically and mentally.

    Maverick Grille

    Introducing international fitness techniques from as far south as Chile is Coach Maverick Grille. Coach Maverick has been teaching multiple fitness disciplines including youth sports for over 8 years. Maverick’s coaching experience includes children’s soccer, teenage soccer, and adult strength and endurance training.

    Coach Maverick is a professional, qualified physical trainer and certified personal trainer. He holds certifications in sports nutrition and massage therapy. Maverick’s personalized classes are aimed to help all types of people. His specialty is helping you discover your physical and mental limits.

    By mixing your strength and endurance training, adapting to different levels, Coach Maverick will guide you in the correct way to be 1% better every day. He teaches a process in which you will learn to train and improve exercise techniques. You will develop skills that last over time.
