As with our fitness boxing, fitness Muay Thai concentrates on muscle development and aerobic activity. Our coaching staff focuses on teaching all the basic muay striking techniques for hands, elbows, knees and legs. Our coaches are experienced at working with every level of student from beginner to professional level fighters. Rest assured you can train safely at your own pace and intensity level.

In addition to learning the unique fundamentals of Muay Thai, our training and drills will improve hand-eye coordination, balance, and physical awareness. These classes prioritize proper form, footwork and conditioning. Our students often find that training in Muay Thai helps improve their other pursuits in boxing or other martial arts, as well as overall physicality.

At Raw Fitness, we believe that great coaches deliver great results. That’s why we are proud to welcome Muay Thai and MMA coach, Roberto Baschieri, as the leader of our Muay Thai Program. Robert is a highly regarded Muay Thai world Champion with over 32 years of experience and an impressive resume of 106 fights and 88 wins.

Robert brings in-depth training techniques from the Muay Thai camps of some of the strongest fighters in the world such as Nopparat, Skabowsky, Samir, and Phat Kongram. He has also trained and fought with kick-boxing and Muay Thai fighters around the world, including France, Germany, Holland, and Thailand.

Today, Robert is an accomplished Muay Thai and MMA striking coach for several high-profile mixed martial arts leagues, including UFC, PFL, and Bellator. Some of the notable fighters he’s trained include Mike Trizzano, Lyman Good, Julio Arce, and Shan Burgos. Currently, Robert is the official striking coach of Dillon Danis.

Started as a memeber May 2021. I had a bad shoulder injury when i started and lifting 4lbs was painful for anything over head. With tons of patience and modifications and strength building, my shoulder feels amazing and i am able to lift heavy! This place made me feel excited to work out and take my strong selfies in the coolest bathroom i have seen. Tons of equipment-dumbbells, kettlebells, boxing heavy bags, medicine balls, ropes, machines, bars.... Coach diego and coach brian have really helped me achieve my goals as getting stronger than yesterday from october 2021-march 2022 when i was in my reverse diet. #gaintrain

WOW! First time here yesterday and talk about about great customer service really care about their clients you can tell they all genuinely want the best results for their clients. Brian the owner is amazing definitely takes pride in his business and his clients. Diego the trainer was amazing their HIIT class is TOP NOTCH! Definitely recommend for anyone in Bergen/Passaic county areas gym is located in a great location!

Raw Fitness is a hidden gem. The coaches are amazing. They listen to your goals and implement the exercises in the classes to achieve those goals. Coaches Diego and Janet are awesome, not only do they show you how to do every exercise, but they also make sure that your form is correct and modify the workouts if needed. Raw Fitness has a few different coaches, so you get a lot of exposure to different workout styles. They offer a variety of workout classes. I also have both of my kids taking boxing classes. The kids coaches are the best. A great place to let out their energy. If your looking for your non traditional gym then this is the place. Highly highly recommend this gym.
